This is the Nvidia Quadro 4000. Having 2gb of ram, but also slightly faster than the 550ti according to passmark


I made these charts to demonstrate the amount of GPU power it takes to load massive MIDI files onto MIDITrail. Here I have a GTX 550Ti, a GTX 750Ti, and a GTX 760. 

  • GeForce 550Ti, 1GB
  • GeForce 750Ti, 2GB
  • GeForce 760, 4GB

For the CPU, I was using an Intel Core i7 4790k @4.00GHz which turbo boost to 4.4GHz under single-core heavy load. These bar graphs show that the graphics cards with the most ram were able to maintain a much higher framerate with larger MIDI files.

Over time, I will be adding more sets of graphics card's benchmarks on MIDITrail to these same MIDIs used, with the same processor.

GTX 650ti

This benchmark was submitted by Carlos S.M. using a GTX 650ti 1gb graphics card. as you can see, 1gb of ram is just not enough to handle TAC 8.1 million. Pretty interesting!

GTX 460

I actually did this a while back. Here is a GTX 460, which is actually the 1gb version from EVGA, so i got kinda lucky haha. As always, 1gb just isn't enough to hold down 8.1 million notes...

GTX 780 SC

On the GTX 780, it was getting a constant 60fps, up until it got to the hardest part of the song, it jumped from 58.9-60 fps, and then at the end of the hard section it went down to like 57 or 56fps if the notes were more spread out, it would've gotten 60fps constantly
